Senior FEA Project Engineer
Salary: Highly Negotiable + Bonus
This leading offshore engineering group is a supplier to all of the major offshore contractors globally.
The group’s activities typically commence conceptual design study. If the decision is taken to proceed, the company will then undertake full production drawings and will provide a supervision team to represent the owner during the manufacturing / construction phase.
The company also takes on responsibility as main contractor for the design, build and installation of turnkey projects and associated equipment.
As part of a plan of structured growth they are now seeking to recruit a Senior FEA Project Engineer to join their successful team based in Gloucestershire.
This real opportunity to make a difference within an expanding Engineering design office. The position is likely to suit an individual with a minimum of two years relevant experience.
Part of a consultancy team focused on providing high quality Engineering Analysis, this role will provide exposure to all aspects of numerical analysis on a wide range of technical challenges across a broad range of industries from marine to aerospace.
You will be responsible for assessing complex structures and assemblies to ensure they satisfy client requirements and the results of your work will influence product design and development.
The successful candidate will be mechanical engineering graduate, a confident communicator, have in-depth knowledge of stress analysis and also have extensive experience in the use of leading CAD &FEA software. Clear concise technical reporting is essential.
The successful candidate will be confident in their ability to complete practical FEA studies with a minimum of supervision. Expert advice is available from within the organisation.
You will be expected to play a part in the supervising the work of more junior personnel and in developing their skills.
