My client has been providing specialist accounting services to individuals all over the UK for nearly 20 years, offering full tax advice and support, provided by dedicated tax experts with services tailored to suit unique needs and circumstances.


There is now a new opportunity available for a Business Development Consultant to join the team.


The Business Development Consultant will be involved with:


· Helping to build strong relationships with clients by keeping in constant contact with the customer base

· Generation of new referring accounts by cold calling

· Ongoing work and development of existing referring accounts

· Maintain the CRM database with regards to referring accounts’ information

· Support Business Development Manager within account team as per instructions given on a regular basis

· Tracking progress of all referrals and showing control of any referrals in an organised fashion

· Responsible for providing feedback on referrals to clients and the Sales Team

· If required, responsible for generating new accounts via cold calling, research and/or existing data provided


The Business Development Consultant will offer the following skills and knowledge:


· “A” level education as a minimum

· Knowledge of VAT (basic level)

· Knowledge of Personal Tax (basic level)

· Knowledge of general Accounting (basic level)

· PC literate

· Experienced with MS Excel and MS Word and email
