One of the UK’s leading companies that supply tools and equipment to both trade and the public are seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Gloucester based branch.

Working in Gloucester you’ll assist in the running of the branch helping to ensure a smooth, successful and profitable operation.

In the absence of the Branch Manager you’ll take charge of the branch resolving issues, banking, managing staff and branch’s day to day activities.

Other responsibilities will the Assistant Manager will cover will be:-

Customer Care

  • Facilitates sales within the branch, both face to face and on the telephone and ensures efficiency and profitability.
  • Deals with customers enquiries both sales and resolving issues.
  • Keeps up to date with equipment, advising and demonstrating equipment.
  • Ensures equipment is ready for hire.
  • Builds customer relationships, helps to retain existing business and maximise sales.

Stock Control

  • Completes stock takes.
  • Orders consumables for equipment and orders stationery.
  • Orders equipment to ensure appropriate stock levels.

Administration

  • Organises driver routes to ensure maximum efficiency.
  • Completes all relevant paperwork accurately.
